Why EVERGREEN GAMES?

The Evergreen Mission

Once upon a time we wanted to see if we could design a game. That little desire led to the game Scoville. Then came Embarcadero. The next step in this journey is to make our own company to put out the amazing content that we want to see in the world.

We’re going to try publishing, learn the ropes, and see if we can’t make the world a more cheerful place. Or tagline (for now) is, “Putting games on tables and smiles on faces.”

Evergreen games will ramp up to make games of three types: Bonsais, Evergreens, and Sequoias. Bonsai games will be smaller, mass-market style games that are quick to teach and play. Evergreens will be middle-weight games that bridge the gap between casual gamer and hobby gamer. And Sequoias will be the heavy gamer games that minimize luck and maximize strategy!

Learn the ropes with us!

What types of board games do you offer?

We are just getting started and have two games in the queue to begin our publishing career. Going forward we will eventually hit our stride by making several games a year in three categories: Bonsais (small box games), Evergreens (middle weight games) and Sequoias (big, heavy games).

How can I stay updated on new board game releases?

You can follow us on social media to receive the latest updates on new board game releases and industry news.

Do you provide resources for game designers?

We will work to bring that sort of content to this site. For now you can check out Ed’s old blog: www.boardsandbarley.com

What is your return policy for board games?

We don’t have one yet, but we can’t wait to see our games out on the wild. We’ll get one set up before that.

What is your AI usage policy?

AI will never be used by Evergreen Games in final products for sale. However, Evergreen reserves the right to utilize AI for prototyping and testing.
